Unfortunately this show was cancelled two days before tech.
We are presented with two groups of people: one of opulence and one of militant utilitarianism. It is through the representation of both these groups, framed in a world of sharp edges and soft stained glass, that we learn to understand the value of truth and honest self expression. Through Richard we are exposed to false presentation of honor and power that parade themselves as virtue. Bolingbroke is the manifestation of merit and truth, acting in the interest of what is just. We were able to use subsidiary characters to address ideas of gender expression, power dynamics, and unwavering political commitment. Through the design elements we endeavored to create a world so polarizing in its visual symbolism that it confronted audiences
