I wanted to use bold vertical lines and striking silhouettes to offer distinctions and play off the larger than life story in Gentleman’s Guide. I wanted each characters change to be quick but move the story. I decided to use red as the family tie for the Dy’squith family. and had every family member have a family crest some where on their costume.
