During Shout the Mod Musical I wanted to show How these women grow from hearing each other stories. At the beginning they are each a solid color but with each costume change they start to grow and learn and gain from each others stories, I wanted these costumes to be an extension of that growth. Each dress was half painted to have the specialized patterns
